ZENARMOR 1.15.1: ShedReports SMTP AUTH extension not supported

Hello all,

I have a problem after my OPNSENSE migration from an Intel NUC to a host running PVE.

I did a clean install and rebuilt everything from scratch (HAProxy, OpenVPN(TCP) over HAProxy, ACME with DNSAPI and more).

So far everything is running satisfactorily.

Please be merciful with me, these are my first steps with OPNSense  ;). At work Sonicwall UTMs are in use.

Now I have read a lot of good things about the Zenarmor addon, but I have a problem with the email reports.

My mail server can only PLAIN AUTH on TLS.
I just can't get the mail to send.

In the logs from the mail server I see that a connection is established, but unfortunately fails at the AUTH, so I assume that ZA does not make a PLAINAUTH.

I get the error message:

Connection Error
Smtp :SMTP AUTH extension not supported by server.

is there any way to change the SMTP authentication for the Python module to PLAIN-AUTH?

The team needs to look into the logs and configuration. Can you share a report via Have Feedback in the UI by selecting Zenarmor config and log files checkboxes?
