TP-Link UE300/RTL8153 Interface Flapping

Hi All,
I've installed a new system which has a USB3 based NIC, RTL8153 based. Unfortunately I seem to be having issues with this USB NIC, and the interface flaps continually when a cable is plugged in until the system totally gives up and the connection stays down.
I've not managed to find much in the way of solutions for this issue, has anyone else had experience with this?
I believe the system is already using the "if_ure" driver, and nothing appears in the logs other than the interface UP/DOWN messages.
If more information is required, please let me know.
Cheers

Realtek NICs are garbage, especially when running FreeBSD (which is OPNSense's underlying OS) because the drivers are poorly written. Find some better hardware to solve your problem.

Understood there! Unfortunately I'm unable to run a PCIe NIC in this particular setup, which isn't ideal. Could you recommend any USB3-based NICs that aren't Realtek based?
Cheers
