Problem with NUT

OPNsense 22.7.7_1-amd64
FreeBSD 13.1-RELEASE-p3
OpenSSL 1.1.1s 1 Nov 2022
I have a Tecnoware EXA Plus 1500 UPS which is recognised by my Asustor using the Blazer USB driver. I can see voltage, frequency, state of charge, input voltage stats in realtime, but my OPNsense firewall doesn't want to know with the Blazer USB driver. Nothing in diagnostics.
What can I do to isolate the problem. I'm a FreeBSD/Linux newbie.

Sorry for that question:
The UPS is connected by USB to your sense, but no more to your NAS?
My opinion: The NAS should be protected with a UPS rather than the firewall!
Does Asustor provide the ability to set up a NUT server for the connected UPS?
I guess there is no driver in BSD for this UPS, as I never heard about "Tecnoware" and search results are "rare".

I tried initially to connect to my FW, failed to make any progress, so I tried the NAS. The UPS is connected to the FW or NAS via USB.
The NAS identifies the UPS as a Blazer UPS 1500. The NAS communicates with it fine, I can see all the stats and set actions if the AC fails. So I'm assuming the FW with a similar Blazer USB driver should work too.
I'd prefer my OPNSense FW to talk to the UPS. The FW is always on, the NAS isn't, it's set to auto-switch off at 02:00. The believe Asustor is able to be a NUT server too.
OPNsense with NUT has various drivers, amongst them the Blazer USB and serial drivers, as well as USBhid etc
I've tried them all now.

I can´t tell anything about driver support for this device, sorry.
Maybe there is a config issue or a missing reboot / service restart, I don`t know. Until there is no solution for you:
As of my sight, the NAS is more worth of protection, especially if OPNsense is based on ZFS.
My way to go would be to connect the UPS to the NAS, which is providing a NUT server where the sense connects to, even if the NAS is turned off for a while.
