Can obtain IP but cant connect to internet

I just had fibre installed and i'm trying to setup opnsense. I've managed to obtain a wan IP via dhcp but unfortunately Im unable to connect to the internet. I've attempted to ping google from the diagnostics tools but no luck. Running netstat returns an odd output shown below. There's no default route listed but im unsure how to fix this. Can anyone help?

Update

I tried setting the wan to a static address and manually specifying the gateway. This allowed internet access but as soon as I ran a speed test the RTT & RTTd latency sky rocketed and eventually the connection drops.
