Megaraid Booting

Hey all,

I was trying a ZFS install on a Poweredge R330 with an H330 controller. I was having all kinds of issues but eventually I was able to get it installed following this thread.

1) press esc at the OPNsense welcome screen
2) issue command "set hw.mfi.mrsas_enable=1"
3) issue command "show" to confirm i see the option there
4) issue command "boot" system boots
5) I login as installer to initiate the install

I'm not familiar with how upgrades work with OPNSense and if the set parameter will stick? Should I have anything to be concerned about?

I assume since this is a FreeBSD issue there's no way to contribute a fix to OPNSense to resolve the issue for others?

You can set that tunable in the OPNsense UI and then it will persist across reboots and updates.
