I tried to update to v22, but had to revert back to 21.7.8. I have two LAN interfaces on different subnets. One was fine but the other keep crashing after about 45 seconds. Tried to update to 22.1.6 with same issue.

Is there something I need to do before I update? What info is needed to help the community. I have a simple install with one WAN and two LANS. the only plugins I use are Suricata and Monit.

Please help

I did try to restore the configuration and multiple restarts without any improvement. I even try to revert to 22.1.4.
Let me know what logs I need to post.

Sounds like IPS mode. Do you have VLANs? If so might be worth adding a parent interface in the GUI and enabling it without further configuration for checksumming and stuff to be properly turned off as per release notes.

Cheers,
Franco

No VLAN's. Will try again this weekend and will disable IDS. Maybe a bad install. I have 4 LAN interfaces and one WAN. Only one LAN interface did this. All LAN rules are default

Just curious, you wouldn't happen to have Realtek chipsets on those cards by any chance ?

Can you share the cards model with us ?

No, using Intel i350-T4. I am in the process of building a whole new box. Best to clean up after 3 years on this box.
I have made so many changes and custom settings, time for a rebuild. So far so good.

Just hit a few snags. Had to replace a T520-DA2 with x710-da2 because port 2 didn't work. but works in Windows just fine. Also, I noticed state violation rules showing up in the Firewall Live view. Still tweaking.
