opnatt.sh working?
«
on:

Has anybody using opnatt.sh upgraded and been successful. I tried it and everything looked good but I could never get an IP.
Had to revert back to a backup until I can have more time to troubleshoot but I was wondering if anyone had tried and had success.
Thanks!

Are you talking about doing the netgraph or the wpa_supplicant?
I moved from netgraph to wpa_supplicant and can report that wpa_supplicant works fine. Did you remember to move the 99-opnatt script in /usr/local/etc/rc.syshook.d/early to the new install? And also if you are using wpa_supplicant, that you have all the certificates and wpa_supplicant.conf transferrred over as well?
If yes and you're still facing problems - maybe you should attach the pfatt or openatt logs so that we can see where the problem actually is

Thanks for the reply.
I’m using netgraph.
The opnatt.log didn’t indicate there were any issues and I saw EAP packets going back and forth so I feel like it should have been working. I’ve had this weirdness before just rebooting on 21.x but have yet to figure out what is going on because it’s rare and usually resolves itself in about an hour. It’s like the EAP stuff finishes and then I just keep sending discovers (correct MAC forwarded) but get no response. I was doing it during my lunch break so I didn’t have much time to keep messing with it.
The family is going to be out of the house in about an hour so I’m going to try again and see if I have better luck today.
Maybe I should look into wpa_supplicant.conf so I can ditch this RG.
