can someone please give me some advice regarding performance settings opnsense with protectli?

I mean you have thrown so much hardware at it, there isnt going to be a performance issue with that box. Mine some bitcoin in the background to use the cpu more I guess.

cpu usage in idle state is about 10-16% as i have not yet proxy, suricata etc running

AFAIK there are no general performance tips, otherwise these settings would have been made setup defaults in the first place. It comes down to investigating exactly what process causes more load than desired on cpu/memory/network/disk, and then tune that service specifically.
Also take in account that load in itself isn't a bad thing, it's just a sign of work being done. It only starts to become a problem if it causes resource starvation to other processes.
