Need help to disable and remove an interface via console

Hey Y'all.
I've got a bit of a problem. We just got our new 10gbit line wired and dropped, and after setting it up and enabling it, the entire box seems to not be doing any routing in or out. I've determined that the 10gbit iface (ix0) needs to be removed for us to regain our remote access but i'm unsure how to do it via Console, as that's all the datacenter smart hands have access to.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, as an emergency trip to Fremont, CA isn't in the budget at this moment in time to fix it onsite.

There is the option to revert the configuration from the console menu to a previous state prior to the configuration of the interface, or the interface could be shut down with ifconfig, might get the routing sorted out?
