Optimizing setup + Some computers no access to WebGUI

Ran into this problem twice and am not able to figure out the source, solved it the first time with a reinstall of OPNsense with the exact same interfaces and assignments.
My desktop computer which is connected through fiber to server, can't get to the webgui, even though it has access to all the other computers and internet; other computers connected through the wireless AP can connect with no issue.
So I have an OPNsense vm inside a ProxMox server at home.
The physical server has:
-A dual SFP+ nic
-- LC to Desktop computer / enp8s0f0 -> vtnet3
-- GPON to ISP / enp8s0f1 -> vtnet4
-A dual GbE nic
-- RJ45 to Wireless Router (AP Mode) / enp5s0 -> vtnet1
-- Unused / enp6s0 -> vtnet2
vtnet 1,2 and 3 are bridged as LAN in OPNsense (static 192.168.2.1 - DHCP on)
-Onboard GbE nic
-- enp7s0 / unbridged - management port Proxmox -v (static 192.168.2.2)
So my questions are as follows:
1) Is this the
less stupid
way of getting my desktop computer to connect to LAN (I don't have sfp+ switch)
2) If it is the
less stupid
way, what could be the culprit in my issue with accessing the WebGUI from my desktop.
Thanks in advance,
Cheers
P.S: I also attached the best I could do for a network diagram.
