Dynamic DNS on Multi WAN & HA
«

I have a problem with my Dynamic DNS setup with two WAN uplinks WAN1 and WAN2 using a gateway group. WAN1 is tier 1, WAN2 is tier 2.
It worked fine until i set up high availability (i guess). Now the Dynamic DNS updater always only recognize the public IP of WAN1 (tier 1), regardless if i select WAN2 in the Dynamic DNS config.
Any ideas?

Did you already search the forums for it? I'm not sure but I have in mind that it's unsupported

I always do research before i post, but i only found the old thread here which refers to multi WAN without HA. Updating DNS for multi WAN works in general.

Correction: Which IP is recognized by the Dynamic DNS service is not dependent on gateway groups. Only the priority of the WAN link is relevant.
