Hi all

Is there a date for the release of 20.7.2 ?

No, what are you looking for in particular? We are unsure about the scope.

The updated realtek drivers surely could be worth a .2 because they enable support for the odroid h2+.

But a custom kernel for .1 would also be sufficient i guess.

Can't rush this re(4) driver update. We're looking at 20.7.4 or so with a sane call for testing period behind us.

Franco

The issue with syslog-ng crashing, you've mentioned it would be solved on 20.7.2. This is why I'm asking.

True, install this package manually for now:

# pkg add -f https://pkg.opnsense.org/FreeBSD:12:amd64/20.7/misc/syslog-ng327-3.27.1_2.txz

Probably around Tuesday or Wednesday next week if nothing serious comes up (like FreeBSD security advisories).

Franco

Upgrade unbound to 1.11 perhaps? It has been released for a while now.
In theory there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice there is.

Any plans for a fix for this crashing?  Since upgrading to the latest version I've had my friewall brick on me every 2 days or so.  Saw at least one other person posting about the same and they said downgrading the firmware solved the issue.  I hooked up a monitor to mine after the last time and this is what I saw when I woke up this morning with no firewall

We're not updating netmap at the moment. It's a little tiresome to keep saying this, especially since I answered personally on GitHub just a few hours ago.
