Qotom and the thermal paste...

Hope it´s okey to bump a old thread...anyhow

i got my i7-7500u a few weeks back and it´s running pretty good , i did disassemble it and changed the thermal paste but what about that green pad, is there any way to improve that so the heat transfers better.
