HELP: Upgraded RAM size not reflected in Opnsense

I recently upgraded my server
(Dell PowerEdge R610 with 1x E5649 CPU in CPU slot A)
from using 4x 4gb memory modules to 4x 8gb memory modules. The system itself is reporting that there is now 32GB of RAM, and the embedded iDRAC shows there is a 8gb module in slots A1, A2, A4, and A5. However Opnsense is still showing that there is only 16gb of memory available.
I have checked in the dmesg.boot file and it is also showing 16gb of ram is marked as available however when I run Memtest it shows that there are 32g available and that there are no issues. So somewhere in the boot of Opnsense after the server has collected the system inventory it seems to be thinking there is still only 16gb of RAM available.
Does anyone have any clue as to what may be causing this??? I am pulling my hair out with frustration as I recently upgraded an identical system to the same specs without any issues!
