export more monitoring metrics like VPN status etc?

Hi,
is there a way to export more monitoring metrics from opnsense, like actual amount of connected users via VPN, gateway status etc.?

opnsense has its own metric collector, but i want to export them to prometheus/influx/whatever to display them in grafana.

I had a look at the prometheus exporter tool, but there I only get the basics like hardware status and network transmissions, but no more information about vpn status or something else.
