Transparent bridge still incompatible with Traffic Shaping?

I am curious if this [1] documentation is still accurate. Transparent Bridge + Traffic shaping is not possible in 18.1?

bump, i'm also curious. My bridge will respect download limits but not upload. every configuration I've attempted is introducing at least 400ms bufferbloat to the line.
