Update Opnsense to avoid Intel Microcode Bug

How can I upgrade to the latest patch 26.1.X without hitting the bug regarding Intel Microcode Updates?

I´ve read it is fixed in FreeBSD 15.1, which is also underlaying OS for OPNSense 26.7, but how to proceed updates in 26.1 ?

Is it always recomended to deinstall "os-cpu-microcode-intel" before upgrade?
Is it possible to install Microcodes again after update? Another Workaround?

Deinstall os-cpu-microcode-intel and update, then please wait until we announce a new experimental package that is in need of some testers.
