When will "how to" topics be updated to reflect new changes in Firewall rules?

When will topics like these be updated to reflect the changes in firewall rules in v26?
Can these be netered as rules under the old system and them migrated to new?

I'm not speaking on behalf of the project but from what I see everything in that document is the same for the new firewall rules.  All those fields are still available when you create or edit LAN rules via the new GUI.  The main one being the gateway option, which is also still there.  So, no change.

With the caveat that bugs are possible (though I think most have been fixed already), yes.  The migration tool will take care of that.

FWIW, I had rules with the gateway option in my old ruleset for VPN policy routing and they migrated successfully.
