Had the following issue when trying to upgrade OPNsense to version 25.1.11 from v25.1.9: "Could not find the repository on the selected mirror"

No issues with internet, gateway was fine and route config ok. But firewall itself was not updating.

After some forum searching and reading about the 0.0.0.0/1 route created by wireguard (route found in status, was not in  route config), this seems to be the issue.

Disable wireguard by going to VPN -> WireGuard -> Instances and deselect the checkmark "Enable WireGuard".
Apply and try update again => Working now.

After update => Enable WireGuard again. Tried updating firmware again but no longer working.
So seems you need to disable WireGuard to be able to upgrade.

This for information in case anyone else is having similar issues.

Complete error was:
" Firmware status
Could not find the repository on the selected mirror."
