Transparent Filtering Bridge & Promiscuous Mode

I'm running OPNsense in Transparent Filtering Mode in my network behind my current gateway and my first distribution switch. Basically in the middle of the entire trunk for the network. My question is, do I need to turn ON promiscuous mode on both interface connection upstream and downstream? I do run several VLANs within my network. Or is this not necessary? I run Intrusion detection on the "wan" interface and Zenarmor in the "lan" interface of the bridge. I also run Crowdsec on the bridge interface. I'm just trying to tone my bridge the proper way.
