kann mir jemand eine Mini PCIE WLAN Karte für eine Barebone PC empfehlen?

Soll die OPNsense als Client in ein WLAN? Wenn du sie als AP betreiben möchtest - vergiss es und kauf einen AP.

Kann FreeBSD nicht gescheit.

Das kann OPNsense bzw. FreeBSD nicht, jedenfalls nicht mit aktuellen WiFi-Standards.
