ive tried changing the sticks, speed to different ones also.
currently connecting the stick to tplink media converter which then connects to OPNsense.
is there something i am missing?
thanks..

Same problem but with a different GPON stick (LEOX LXT-010S-H).
Did you find any solution?

Hi, sorry for the necro but I also have this exact same card (Intel X520-da2) and same module (DFP-34X-2C2) and it won't work even though the card is already unlocked for all vendors. It says the module is not supported. Did you get to make it work?

I was about to buy the LEOX LXT-010S-H so thanks for the warning.
Maybe it's because they use the same Realtek chip.

I bought a GPON-ONU-34-20BI since it uses a different chip (Zentiq) to see if it works with the X520. I'll update the post accordingly.
