[SOLVED] 17.1 install on Hyper-V does not see the HD, 16.7 does

No, that's why we have published a newer image for Hyper-V. The bug was only fixed in FreeBSD after 17.1 came out.

The 16.7 upgrade path has also been adjusted to avoid this problem.
