I try to use bootstrap from master, because there seems to be no 24.7 tag, yet, in opnsense/update. And FreeBSD 14.1 as the base system.

I think not. For that to work I'd expect all stable packages to be available, so around RC1 would be my guess.

Yes, will add with RC1. This is always a bit tricky... people run bootstrap and when I change the master branch too early in the past this has failed because people quickly started to report bugs about it.
For now I haven't made sure it works so no commit either.
