Sometimes I log into the OPNsense web interface, go to the Zenarmor dashboard page, and then I'm greeted with the message that the packet engine has been updated, and needs to be restarted manually in order to activate the new version.
I try to configure my systems so they need as little manual intervention as possible. Would it be possible to restart the packet engine (not daily, but as part of an upgrade) using cron or something? I wouldn't mind a few seconds of downtime during the night for this.

Hi,
Thanks for reporting and letting us know about your concern. Zenarmor doesn’t update automatically and to prevent a network outage, it doesn’t restart the service automatically after update. During the restart, interfaces are going down and up and could cause an inaccessibility issue. So we would like the customers should do it in control. If you wait until the end of update you can restart immediately or schedule it in UI.

Thanks. I just did the latest update from the system --? firmware page and thought I was done. Logged back in and went to the Zenarmor dashboard and it told me there was the mismatch and I should restart the services. I'll remember this for the next time.
