HI Guys
I tried a update this morning saying it was a hotfix but during the small update i had an error popup see attachment
Full log do i need to revert https://logs.notifiarr.com/?4dfc41f44bf3a39b#HmJSTGDRXEH2JpzJJ5TsFY2mG9h4WPZHL5n6Uj15H1HD

Also if the update from the WebUI ok to do?

That was fixed in 23.7.12_5. You may have hit this prior to the installation of the new code during the update.

Franco

HI Franco
Thank you for you response is it safe to update or should i wait as i see several issues being reported.

There is just one larger issue with Suricata 7 IPS mode which has been handled and mirrors are syncing a good packages upgrade set not. Google Drive backups appear broken due to PHP/OpenSSL 3 clash. Otherwise it's safe to upgrade from the reports I've read over the last 24 hours.

Franco

I have no idea what  Suricata 7 IPS is lol
I have Google Drive setup does it need disabling prior to update.
Would it better to leave it a few weeks prior to update IYHO?

Not sure about the Google Drive thing. It looks like a wider ecosystem clash between PHP and OpenSSL 3, but my colleague might be able to find a workaround soon.

Waiting is always good if you can. 24.1.1 will always be better than than 24.1 after all ;)
