Hello,
I am new to OPNsense and this forum. I searched but have been unable to find the answer to this./
I performed a new install of 23.7 with no changes to the default configuration. After I assigned the IP address to the LAN interface. I cannot ping; from the unit to the PC plugged into the it (the PC's firewall is off) OR from the PC to the LAN. Of course I cannot access the GUI either.
Because I am so new to this software, I don't know if there is something else that I need to do to enable the LAN/Web GUI, or do I have a defective new Protecil device?

Attach a cable to the unit and see on the console what is happening and what the interfaces assigments are?
