What is Backup Count ?

I wasn't able to find an explanation of what that option in System -> Configurations -> Backups exactly does: could someone shed some light?

I guess it restricts the numbers of backups to keep, for example if you use google drive or nextcloud backup as plugin. If theres no number set, the code defaults to 100 kept backups. So its like a retention policy.

Yes, that's it.
I configured 60 and I have exactly 60 backups in google drive.
