Recommendations & Testing, Firebox & 5525-X

Edit: After posting, I realised I should have probably posted this in the Hardware and Performance forum. Perhaps a mod would kindly move it for me?
I have just acquired a WatchGuard Firebox M470 and Cisco ASA 5525-X.
https://www.watchguard.com/help/docs/hardware%20guides/Firebox_M370_470_570_670_Hardware_Guide.pdf
(hardware specs on page 6)
https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/security/asa-5500-series-next-generation-firewalls/data_sheet_c78-701808.html
The Firebox is working well so far. I had to install a stick of RAM, but it appears to be in good used condition. I removed the mSATA device and added a couple of SSD for a mirrored ZFS and was able to install OPNsense 23.1.
I haven't powered on the Cisco yet as I am awaiting delivery on a VGA adapter, as it's my understanding I will need this to change the BIOS boot order and then install OPNsense.
Before I put these into production I'm going to run some tests on them. I'm wondering if it would be useful to post some throughput benchmark tests for the community, since I wasn't able to find much info on OPNsense running on this hardware. Is there a standard suite of testing documented somewhere that I could follow? If not, what are some tests that would be interesting to the community? Here's a small set I had in mind that are relevant to me:
iperf 3
single firewall LAN to LAN; interface pairs: 1-4; streams: 1-4 per interface pair; MTU: 64, 1500, 9000 bytes
double firewall LAN to peer LAN over Wireguard; streams: 1-4; LAN MTU: 64, 1460, 1500
Some quick web searching suggests the CPUs in these two units should be somewhat comparable in performance. WatchGuard claims much higher throughput for their device, but it's not apples to apples. I'm interested to see a direct comparison in performance between these two devices on identical software, as well as noise level and power consumption.
I'm going to do this testing as soon as possible. I'd like to hear any other suggestions or questions from the community with regards to installation or testing.
