No VGA Console after Upgrade

Hello community,
I had some problems with my router where I could not install any updates.
I think I managed to get things running again with opnsense-bootstrap.
Internet works and I am on 23.1.5.
The only problem I still have is no VGA console.
I run opnsense on a fitlet2 with an HDMI and a miniDP output. Both "trigger" my display to switch to them, but then I get no image and the display says "No Signal".
VGA console is enabled in the settings
I tried it with and without VT driver
I rebooted several times - still nothing
WebUI and SSH seem to be working fine, as are the normal "router and firewall functions".
Before the upgrade I had a video signal, but sometime during my debugging/fixing process I must have "lost" the vga console.
I don't think that I changed any settings regarding video output tho.
Is there a way to re-enable the video output? Or at least debug why it is gone?
Greetings
