Sky Go recordings from Windows

Hi all,
I've been setting up OPNSense over the last week or so. I have several VLANS and today I started playing with the udp-broadcast-relay plugin to be able to use Sky Go on devices connected to my USER VLAN (10) and be able to access my Sky Q recordings and live TV on the Sky Q box on the IOT VLAN (20) . I set up the plugin with:
Interfaces: IOT, USER
Multicast Addresses: 239.255.255.250
Listen Port: 1900
I added a firewall rule on IOT to allow the Sky Q box (configured with a static IP via DHCP) to access the USER net, and a firewall rule on USER to allow USER net access to the Sky Q box.
Using the Sky Q app on an iPhone (connected to the SSID corresponding to the USER VLAN), I can access the recordings and the full list of live TV channels. But when I use the Sky Go app on my Windows 11 laptop connected to the same SSID, it says Sky Q box not found. I tested using the SSID of the IOT VLAN and I can access the recordings as expected.
I did a packet capture on my laptop and I can see the SSDP M-SEARCH going from my laptop to the multicast address and the response from the sky Q box back to my laptop. If I compare it to the capture when I connected to the IOT SSID, I can see that after the SSDP response it then makes a few TCP requests to the Sky Q box and eventually it receives the list of recordings in a JSON object.
Its as if the Sky Go app on Windows detects that the the IP address of the Sky Q box is in a different subnet and it just refuses to even try to connect to it. If I connect to the IOT SSID, let it discover the box and then switch back to the USER SSID, it is actually able to play back the recordings and watch the live channels, so I think at the network/firewall level everything is ok.
Has anyone else managed to get Sky Go on Windows working across VLANs?
