Help finding a compatible NIC

Hello, I would like some help finding a wired pcie Nic from here https://www.umart.com.au/pc-parts/networking/network-adapters/wired-pcie-adapters-972

The FreeBSD hardware list for Ethernet interfaces is about 10 years old and doesn't help https://www.freebsd.org/releases/13.0R/hardware/#support

I bought a tp-link tg3468 but opnsense didn't see the Nic.
linixmint OS worked fine.

I find any HCL very helpful in buying the right kit. There is an updated list here: https://www.freebsd.org/releases/13.1R/hardware/#support

OEM's assist developers in different ecosystems to various degrees. There is plenty hardware that only works with Windows or iOS. You choose to be your own integrator by building a firewall rather than paying for a turnkey solution like these: https://store.ui.com/products/unifi-security-gateway-pro

Maybe you need to select a different shop? Ethernet cards aren't particularly rare ;)

Anything by Intel or Broadcomm will likely work.

I think the issue is more to do with the KVM hypervisor adding the NIC, rather than a drive issue.
