I strongly encourage people who use those fan less units to use these :

Keep it set to speed #1 and it will keep the units cool. They won't thermal throttle and will last longer too !

Hello jlab,

thanks for the fan link.
Unfortunately, they don't fit me because the cooling fins have a different offset.
Or do you put such a fan only on the cooling fins on top?

You just sit the unit on top, it will cool the WHOLE unit. It's very quiet keep the air flow static..

On Aliexpress, there are units with larger cases than that. I had a J4125-based specimen with that specific case and it was fine for that one. Later I found that the Intel N series have much larger TDP, those units can take up to 28 Watts compared to 15 Watts for the J4125.

Therefore, I would not recommend using that case for an N series CPU.

You should watch Patrick's videos on that topic here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLC53fzn9608DQM80Tumls-I3OV-DNgn0s, he also found huge differences in thermal design.
