Will there ever be an official opnsense nanopi aarm64 supported builds?

It's been a few years since I last attempted to run opnsense on arm - looks like things haven't changed and opnsense remains to be an x86/amd64 only platform.
Has there been an official stance about aarch64 by the opnsense devs? My nanopi R6S is great with OpenWrt but opnsense is a much better all-in-one platform to run for home firewall.
