OpenVPN ssh and web interface falls over after restarting server

Hi Community
I have an instance of OPNSense 20.7.8_4-amd64, FreeBSD 12.1-Release-p12-HBSD, OpenSSL 1.1.1i 8Dec2020 running in a Virtual machine. If I reboot the OPNSense server the web management interface and the ability to ssh to the server for for management fails after 30min to several hours. Initially the management interface is available, but after 30+min I am unable to reach the web interface in a browser. The IP address I connect to remains ping-able ans people can still connect to the server to create a VPN tunnel to work. The only way to get the web management interface to come up again is to reboot the OPNSense server from the server console. This annoys my users when I am trying to set up stuff that I am rebooting the server to get 30min of web browser access to the management interface. Has anyone experienced this before and it there a way to fix it other than rebuilding he OPNSense server again in a new VM. Please note that the VM is running fine
