Dear all,

when I use "Multiselect" (see attachment) on any log page in the GUI I've a huge CPU increase (nearly 100%). Only deselect and reboot solved the issue.

Anybody facing the same issue?

Hi
can you please provide step by step example? will try to reproduce
(i would start with System: Settings: Logging - > reset log files)

Hi,

may you can reproduce, it seems to have something to do with the Unbound logs (view).

Steps:
Unbound DNS -> Log File -> (running into timeout) afterwards huge CPU load

From the backend log:
022-01-30T14:29:25 Error configd.py Timeout (120) executing : system diag log '20' '0' '' 'core' 'resolver' 'Emergency,Alert,Critical,Error,Warning'
2022-01-30T14:29:03 Error configd.py Timeout (120) executing : system diag log '20' '0' '' 'core' 'resolver' 'Emergency,Alert,Critical,Error,Warning'
2022-01-30T14:29:02 Error configd.py Timeout (120) executing : system diag log '20' '0' '' 'core' 'resolver' 'Warning'
2022-01-30T14:28:50 Error configd.py Timeout (120) executing : system diag log '20' '0' '' 'core' 'resolver' 'Emergency,Alert,Critical,Error,Warning'

CPU Usage from:
System -> Diagnostic -> Activity in the attachment

Now need to reboot ;)

hm. no problems at my end with 10k lines unbound log. may be some racing condition and broken log? have you tried to reset logs?
no other ideas yet

Hi,

it seems the reset did the trick lets see, thanks
