Hello,

I'm not really sure if this is a bug or a feature request, or where this should go, so if I should move it or repost it somewhere else please let me know.
When using DHCPv4, Unbound, and "Register DHCP Static Mappings" in Unbound, OPNsense respects the domain name set on the DHCP page. However, whenever using IPv6, there is no domain name setting on the DHCP page, and it doesn't respect the Domain search list. In the documentation, the explanation for "Register DHCP Static Mappings" is "Register static dhcpd entries so clients can resolve them. Supported on IPv4 and IPv6." and it seems to work, but it only uses the main domain, so all of my IPv6 clients end up having a reverse PTR record with my management domain, instead of something like .servers or .lan like it should.

Hi,

Which version are we talking about?

FWIW, if this is 21.1.8 you can try this one: https://github.com/opnsense/core/commit/d2a183a7a8e

# opnsense-patch d2a183a7a8e
