I have the same problem starting from 20.7 versions.

Each boot stops for about 100 seconds after message Reconfiguring IPv4 on WAN NIC.
After the error message the boot process continues and finished fine.

This happens every boot, no exceptions.

Maybe this is related to two OpenVPN clients configured.

How to fix this? What else to check?

Any ideas what to try?

Why I see "error in configd communication" each boot?

Is it related to OpenVPN clients?

Well, if this is OpenVPN related why not check the OpenVPN logs?

Cheers,
Franco

Your gateway is apparently telekom, might be useful to know which kind of internet access you use. And the logs of of the connection(PPPoE?)...

error in configd appears to be unrelated
