Will opnsense 21.1 dashboard traffic graph remember history?

The traffic graph widget on the dashboard does not remember history. E.g. just showing what happens from you load the dashboard and for as long as it is up. Now that chart.js is being used - will it show history in 21.1 or is this planned for future releases?

Hi waxhead,

History cannot be stored for the traffic graphs. It would require something similar to how NetFlow is aggregated using sqlite database but building a duplication / competing component of it is not desired / out of scope for the project.

Alright, thanks for the explanation. However, perhaps a widget for Reporting->Insight->Totals would suffice? This is actually nearly just as good and something I would find useful at the dashboard - just a suggestion. Thanks anyway! :)
