Hi!
I installed the latest opnsense Version on a "upgraded" Watchguard M400.
The Upgrade:
+ i3 4130
+ 8GB RAM
+ 120 GB SSD
All is runnig fine, except the CPU seems to running on full 3.4Ghz all the time.
CPU Temp stays arround 50° all the time also.
In the netgate forum i saw temps arround 30° for the same config on pfsense.
So my question is if it is possible to activate CPU throttling on low processor load ?

Hi Franco,
i changed the powerd settings to minimum.
Temperature goes down to 45° now.
But there must be more savings or not?
How can i check if powerd / speedstep is working proberly?
