Crash in 20.1.6 when PPPoE refreshes

Following the thread from
https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?topic=12828.60
the issue seems to be still present in
OPNsense 20.1.6-amd64
over here. We submitted a couple of crash reports from within the OPNsense web gui. Not sure where they end up and if they're helpful.
Any idea on what to do?
Thanks
Simon

Same at my installation.
When the PPPoE-Line was re-synced or the VDSL-Modem (Full Bridge Mode) was rebooted OPNsense was freeze or hangs on the LAN.
The console display no problems, after an hard-reset the system is booting normal.
I think: is is an issue Kernel <-> ethx drivers
