Problem Installing On unRAID VM
«

Hello,
I apologize if I am posting this in the wrong location, there are no forums for support.
Like the title says I am trying to install on a vm in unRAID. When I try and boot it hangs at:

As you can kinda see at the top I tried the fix posted on older threads to run
set kern.vty="sc"
but it did not help.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you,
Joshua

Hi Joshua,
the combination of OPNsense and unRAID may work may not. If you have searched the web and forum for others to use this combination may they have done some blog posts.
It looks like a lot of people are using Proxmox as hypervisor with OPNsense.
My personal opinion is that a security device should not run on top a hypervisor.

I had to use pc-i440fx-4.2 and seabios on unraid for my opnsense vm. Did you try that? ALso I installed using legacy boot.
