Update to 15.7.8

I've just done the update to the new release and there is a requirement to update pkg to a new version by running pkgng, I'm assuming this was intentional as it's not mentioned in the announcement? After that pkg update it's necessary to run the update again for a now successfully updated system.

Hi Bill,

It's mentioned in the full notes as a port update, although not how that affects upgrading. We made the GUI firmware upgrade this way a while back because pkg is refusing to show other packages to upgrade until pkg has upgraded. The console firmware upgrade is different as it is a basic "take me to the next level in one big step no matter what happens".

Thanks for the quick reply, I guess I'll have to be more studious about OPNsense and reading the full note and getting used to the terminology. You're too quick for me with updates. Thanks for all your work on this and it's a much more sane environment on these forum rather than... some other well known firewall forum.
