I managed to find a fix that works  from a post by Patrick M. Hausen. apparently it's a frontend issue unrelated to NUT and can be fixed with
opnsense-patch https://github.com/opnsense/core/commit/14710e775

Hi Guy's I'm Having an issue trying to configure NUT, when i go to Services> Nut and click configure it brings up the page to report an issue. looking around I seen there was a way to revert using opnsense-revert -r 26.1.7 nut
but when I try to do that I get the message: Fetching nut.pkg: ..[fetch: https://www.mirrorservice.org/sites/opnsense.org/FreeBSD:15:amd64/26.7/MINT/26.1.7/latest/Latest/nut.pkg.sig: Not Found] failed.

is there a way I can revert or will I need to wait until a fix is out?

Yeah that seems to have done it, Thanks Boxer. Its been a long night lol. Ive had a rough one after updating. before this I updated to 26.7 and the HP Z240 I was using decided to die after a reboot. I eneded up having to use an old gaming PC until I look for something to replace it on ebay. So its been a long night :D

Hi guys, Since updating I have been unable to use my usual cloudflare or mullvad DNS over TLS settings. I have made sure as usual to disable override from DHCP/PPP over WAN etc. Testing my connection on 3 different tools for cloudflare, mullvad and DNScheck.tools reports my ISP as dns.
