I've signed in just to reply that I have the same problem.
I run Opnsense VM under Proxmox.
With 26.1.3 the CPU utilisation goes to 80% to 90% in just a couple of hours.
I've now restored 25.7.11_9 from a VM backup and it has been running fine for a couple of days.
