Oh sorry I forgot the context. There has been a microcode update that caused some reboot issues or something. I read about it on reddit.

If you don't 100% need the microcode updates you most likely are better off stability wise without the plugin. (personal opinion, no expert on that matter)

Nope, disk has more than enough space. also zfs doesnt show any errors.

I just manually rebooted it and it is the first time that this fixed my issue... even ssh access works now...

I will still let this thread open. I am very sure that something similar happens upon the next update, because I got these consistently in the past.

I currently have two different issues, I am not sure whether they are related or not.

The first issue existed for some time already: I can't update my system anymore without manual intervention.
I usually update my system via cron and it doesnt work because my system never reboots. If i click  "Click to check for updates." via the dashboard I can see that all updates where downlaoded, but that there are problems with rebooting. I get the popup dialog that shows "Performing reboot to finish this update. The system is being rebooted at the moment, please wait...". However, it never reboots and after some time i get redirected to the dashboard again.

I noticed it already on 25. What I initially did was that I access my system via ssh, ran various commands I unfortunately dont remember (I think i deleted the update cache, deleted some /var/log files, and other stuff. I dont know what really solved the issue unfortunately, I always thought this was the last time I would have to do this...)

Unfortunately I have disabled ssh a while back, and here we come to my other issue: I can't enable ssh anymore. If I enable "Enable Secure Shell" and "Permit root user login" via the dashboard, I get the following fatal error:

If I go back to the dashboard and to the settings page again, I can see that both options are checked so it was saved, but ssh doesnt work.
