I encountered this issue on my T740 today. Installed OPNsense 25.7 from USB last night with mouse, keyboard and monitor attached with zero issues. Ran updates to bring it up to OPNsense 25.7.5, still no issues.
Shut it down today to remove keyboard, etc. to run it headless and it wouldn't boot due to the error => atkbd0: [GIANT-LOCKED].
