Hello,
We have 2 opnsense in HA and after we start/reboot not all of the configured networks (all of them are routed ones) are reachable. If you click on the "Apply" button in Routing or Gateway, the networks start working as expected. This seems to be the case for both (Primary and Secondary). So you update the secondary, reboot and the switch over the CARP Master to the secondary (and forget to click Apply beforehand), we get the problem too. The routes are visible in System -> Routes -> Status (and on the console via netstat -rn). We don´t use any dynamic routing protocols. So I´m unsure if the problem originates from the routing or something else. We are using some VLANs on these system (around 32 interfaces in each opnsense).
We have that issue for quiets some time, back into the 24.x firmwares. Currently both are running 25.7.3_7 and we updated to some 25.x between. That problem sadly was always there and we don´t know exactly when it started.
Thanks and Kind regards
