Do you have any recommendations on resetting the configuration after shooting yourself in your foot?
I've tried resetting the HA setting, creating a new user account, resetting the root account, etc. To try and get something moving along again.

If you upgrade the master first, and replicate to the backup (e.g., via cronjob) you shoot yourself in your own foot. The new user manager configuration will synchronize with the backup firewall.
