Hello everyone,
I'm new to this forum and also just getting started with OPNSense. I'd like to begin by outlining my setup for better context regarding the issue I'm experiencing.
I'm running OPNSense on a Minisforum MS-01 Mini PC with Proxmox. The setup includes:
LAN and WAN interfaces assigned via PCIe passthrough (WAN using PPPoE),
A DMZ interface set up using a bridged configuration (vtnet0).
The system is running the latest OPNSense version (25.1.8_1-amd64), and everything is functioning well in terms of connectivity—no errors on any of the interfaces.
Now, the issue:
On the OPNSense dashboard, the pie chart under "Interface Statistics" consistently shows only the LAN interface with a high number of outgoing packets. If I remove the LAN interface, it then shows only the WAN, and similarly, only the DMZ is shown if the WAN is removed. In other words, the pie chart doesn't seem to automatically update or reflect all currently active interfaces.
However, when I switch to the table view, I can see that traffic statistics for all interfaces are updating in real time, with no reported errors.
In summary:
OPNSense is working fine overall (no connectivity or error issues),
The pie chart under Interface Statistics does not dynamically update to show all active interfaces,
The table view shows accurate and real-time traffic for all interfaces.
Any guidance or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
